6ft Aluminium Training Bar (Tested to 130lbs/65kg)

Need a lightweight, but high quality bar to practice lifting exercises? The 6ft aluminium training bar is great for beginners to practice Olympic lifts, squats, dead lifts and so on and has been tested to hold up to 65kg of weight. It is a great technique bar that you can add plates to and it has a brushed steel finish making it extremely stylish and durable. The length of the aluminium training bar is 1830mm and it has a diameter of 28mm.

Weighing only 7kg it is much lighter than standard Olympic bars and allows beginners to practice lifts without too much weight. Great for young athletes and females looking to get into weight training. We recommend using 5kg rubber technique plates to start off with. It is also great for other exercises such as the high windmill, overhead squat, single arm overhead press and many others.

Aluminium Technique Bar

Olympic bars form an important part of any strength training routine. The aluminium technique bar which is available to buy here is a great training bar for those looking to get into weight lifting. It is much lighter than steel bars and allows safe practice of technique before you start adding weight.

Perform all Olympic lifting movements such as cleans, jerks and snatches with this bar and focus on good technique. It is vitally important to get the technique right as it will help you strengthen all lifting muscles and reduce the risk of injury. Many lifters suffer from bad backs if they do not use correct technique so you do not want to follow suit.
